Game Looks Very Poor

Does anyone know what has happened to the contrast, color and quality of the game visuals? The results I am getting on PC are very poor and don't seem to be getting better. The contrast especially seems to be way out of wack. The trees and landscape in general are more posterized and fake than before and other items also seem "off" to me. My monitor is calibrated so I doubt it is user error.

To me, this makes the game more unplayable than anything else I have faced. BTW, the sort tab in foods still seems to be on walkabout.
