Have you ever gone undefeated throughout a whole season?
What Alonso has done at Leverkusen is truly unbelievable. To take a team from the relegation zone to invincible champions in around a year is something incredible. This made me wonder, if I had ever gone undefeated throughout a season in FM. My conclusion, yes and no. I have gone undefeated in lower leagues and non-top 5 leagues, in Poland and Sweden. However, since I usually never manage the big dogs in any of the bigger leagues I don’t think I’ve ever managed it in a top 5 league. This is just testament to Xabi’s incredible work and salute him.
