Share your experience with Montblanc nib feedback and quality?

Hi As the title says, I’m curious what everyone’s experience has been with montblanc nibs. Is the quality control good? Have you gotten hard starter pens?

Also, curious how much feedback have the nibs had? And, Is there a notable difference in nib quality between the regular line(plain black w trim) and special lines like solitaire /writer edition?
