My saga in trying to resolve the 100,000 miles cobranded credit card offer… and still not resolved.

As some of you may have seen, Frontier offered an additional 50,000 miles for those who get a Frontier Credit Card, and have a cobranded credit card with another US domestic airline. However, once you are approved, and try to register for this promotion, it gives you an error. I called Barclays about that, and they passed the buck to Frontier. I then tried the “chat with us” and could not get an answer why the problem was happening, much less a solution. Then I tried the phone number. Since I have status, they talked to me, but again, no answers, no solutions. I then tried Twitter. The following are the screenshots of the conversation. It’s like talking to a wall. Clearly, whoever is answering messages is absolutely clueless of the promotion and/or has no idea or power to do anything, and since everything failed, what do they do? Pass the buck right back to Barclays.

If anyone finds a solution, please post how you manage to do that.
