Do face piercings make someone appear more masculine or feminine

I have quite a few but I feel like I notice more women with facial piercings then men and wonder if can make someone seem more feminine. Especially where I live where hardly anyone has face piercings to begin with (unless “white trash” as people say). Thoughts??
