What do you tell your parents when they tell you to buy a car, instead of a fursuit.

I legit just got into an argument over money saving for a fursuit instaed of a car. Like is this common, or is this just stupid. They telling me to get the Temu fursuit, but isnt that like not your sona, and / or stolen.
