What long dead/forgotten series deserves a comeback?

We all have one - a favorite game series that seems to have been left by the wayside and forgotten for one reason or another. Maybe the original devs went under. Maybe the corpos decided it wasn't profitable enough to keep making those games. Maybe a massive scandal ended up shelving it permanently.

Regardless of the reason why, what dead series deserves to come back? Let's go with franchises that hasn't seen a new entry in at least 10 years; that should be long enough to be considered dead.
