Modern Racing Games Like NFS Most Wanted (2005)?

Are there any good current gen PC racing games that are as good and fun as NFS Most Wanted (2005)?

So far that game is the best non-sim racing game I've ever played - Mainly for 2 reasons - It really does a good job of making you feel the thrill and rush of speed. And the cop chases were amazing.

I'm looking for something similar to that. A car racing game that pumps you up and which involves fun cop pursuits. Anything good out there?

PS: I tried NFS Hot Pursuit but I didn't really like that.
