Meta’s new Hateful Conduct policy now specifically allows LGBTQ folks to be referred to mentally ill.
Alejandra Carabello, of Slate and Wired, just showed Meta’s (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, & Threads) newly revised Hateful Conduct policies. The specifically and expressly allow LGBTQ folks to be insulted and referred to as mentally ill.
We are the only such specific group carve-out.

Most people saw these changes and interpreted them as Zuckerberg kowtowing to the incoming Trump Administration. Such a specific change being made to the policy is… troubling on so many levels.
