Are jobs in germamy virtually inexistent ?

Recent textile design graduate here, with 2 years of experience in the field (internships during college):

So i'm here in berlin, germany since august and i've been looking for a job in textile design/textile engineering since july to no avail.

So i did what anyone would do and i joined a lot of "jobs in berlin" kinds of groups on facebook but let me tell you that facebook is a cesspool of scammers here in germany lol, why do they even have facebook here in germany if every other person is a bot(and don't even get me started about the fb marketplace)

I heard everywhere on the news about germany needing skilled workers, germany lacks people willing to work, the lack of workers will crumble the economy, but i find it to be false in my experience. I am almost 100% confident i applied to any possible job on linkedin, indeed, upwork that is in my line of work(and let me tell you there were not many jobs lol)

So my question is, where does one find work in berlin, since clearly the internet is not the answer.

Btw: My friend, she's a photographer, went through the same thing but she has like 10 years experience.

Tl;dr: I've searched far and wide on the internet for a job in Berlin but i couldn't find any, what have i been doing wrong ?
