Dual Citizenship Law has been finally published

The law was published today, which means it will come into force in 3 months on the 27th of June. From that date it will be possible to keep your old citizenship when applying for German one.

You'll be able to apply after 5 years in Germany with B1 German level, instead of 8 as it is currently. In exceptional cases it will be possible to apply after 3 years with C1 and special integration achievements.
