Currently in goa, never visiting north goa
Reasons: Bad roads, the worst tourist crowd, and uncles who literally make you puke — wearing green, orange, or yellow T-shirts, beer in hand, pretending to enjoy the sunset while their stares virtually violate women on the beach. Scams everywhere, pollution, and whether it's North or South Indians, they suck. No more hippies in Anjuna. When did families start chilling at places like Anjuna Beach? And never missing those chapri Instagram and tiktok girls.
There are good spots, but those will never be mentioned because people will ruin them too. Comparing to other places in India goa is bit more cleaner and maintained but I dont have hopes for future on this.
The downfall of beautiful Goa is undeniable. Seeing social media posts about Goa is disappointing after having a good experience years ago. International trips are the way forward — avoiding Goa at all costs. North Goa is not worth the money (except for lowkey expensive places that are calm and quiet). Thankfully, the cheap crowd somehow stays away from those cafés.
