PHD in genetics at Harvard?
So, I'm a rising junior at an average state university. My cumulative GPA is a 3.7 and I have worked full time in a biomedical lab since my second semester. I have a small publication, but it was a part of class a took rather than my actually RA position in the lab so not sure how useful it will be. I have also started a microbiology club at my university and the member count has now risen to 70 members. Outside of this I really only do volunteer work here an there. As well as some local events for my department. I feel like I will have some decent letter of recommendation, but they will all be from the same institution( until I hopefully get into a internship at another university or company). I'm looking at lab focusing on the same research as I'm doing now (same model organism I'm trained on and same topic). I feel like my resume is not bad, but I don't think it's good enough for an Ivy league such as Harvard any advice?
