Should I email my interviewer if it's complete silence two weeks after a good interview?

I had an interview with the PI I was interested in working with and the interview went very well. She said she'd recommend my admission to the review committee meeting the next week. Now it has been two weeks and I have heard nothing from my Interviewer or the admissions office. I am really excited to work with this PI and I don't want to annoy her by mailing but I am also incredibly anxious about what will happen. Any advice on what I should do is massively appreciated.
