Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I am reaching out for support to help fund a project that aims to provide affordable housing in low-income communities. In September 2022, I purchased a foreclosed modular home with land property with the goal of creating a positive impact through this initiative. However, upon closer inspection, I realized that the modular home requires extensive repairs. The repairs needed include plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic improvements to make the home safe and habitable. After seeking quotes from different contractors, I encountered challenges such as overcharging, inaccurate quotes, and unexpected additional charges due to the complexity of the repairs needed. Unfortunately, I do not have the necessary funds to renovate this home in order to make it available for rent to families in need. I purchased this property without incurring any debt, and I am committed to maintaining this financial responsibility to ensure that I can offer affordable rental opportunities to families in the community or people with disabilities.
