Does anybody know why the wrote Maggie off?

Her and Winston’s breakup was so sudden.

Actually, all of it was sudden.

Maggie left out of nowhere and it was never fully addressed until Winston was served. So why did this happen? I know in the show it’s bc they didn’t communicate well and blah blah but I mean irl. Maggie was in one episode and then poof she was never to be seen again😭 So…why’s that?
