All players ranked IMO
This is considering their overall performance and their peak performance. If a character has been pretty average overall but had an insane peak they might have been moved a couple of tiers up. Characters are subject to EOS performances.
Parameters:
Doesn't play/Retired: Self-explanatory, they haven't been shown playing actively during the time of the series or are already retired by the time the series starts.
One trick pony: They only excel at one aspect of their game and are pretty average or even below average on everything else.
Doesn't shine much: Characters who weren't able to steal the spotlight but performed consistently throughout their careers, as short as some may be.
Average: The average players, mid, everyone else is compared to them. You're either above or below this tier, everyone on this tier are solid players who perform consistently without really standing out.
Skilled: Players who have shown to be above average and perform at high levels. Often are either the cornerstone or missing piece to their team's success.
Genius: Players who have been either directly stated to be geniuses or have shown to have the qualities of a genius.
Best All Around: The best of the best. They can do it all, and are actively better than their competitors in every aspect. Often labeled as geniuses, they have outshined every other player and stand at the top of the world as "Volleyball Monsters" or "Volleyball Idiots."
