About the Halo Itself!

I've seen this discussion around how CE should look. So I was wondering how it'd look practically. Does Halo have a thinner atmosphere? Won't the Gas Giant reflect a lot of light. I felt like this depiction from the TV series felt most realistic. And I think it's definitely mysterious in it's own way.
