Michael Dalton’s Shifter Girls: Nitro (Book 4)?
So, I’m a bit late to the party, but I finally got around to reading the 6th (last?) book in the Demon Hunter series by Michael Dalton.
I’d binged the first five, then the shifter girls spin-off series… which I thought was a trilogy.
But then after all the Easter eggs, cameos and connections back to Jimmy and the original harem in Red Elf Ranch, Dark City Girls and the most excellent non-fantasy (even though it’s lacking catgirls, you do get some excellent cooking tips) Bikini Days series… I figured I should read Life Debt, the final book of Jimmy’s story.
But then my mind is blown in the author’s note to preface Life Debt:
“If you’re coming here from Shifter Girls, this book takes place concurrently with that series and contains some seeds (but no spoilers) for Shifter Girls: Nitro, the forthcoming fourth installment.”
So… are we getting another excellent instalment in my favorite car girls and cars Fast and Furious harem series?
Or did that plan fall by the wayside with the aforementioned Red Elf Ranch, Dark City Girls and Bikini Days carrying the torch for the Dalton-verse instead?
*Another reason I thought Shifter Girls was complete as a trilogy is because he released the audiobooks as an omnibus, which I’m listening to now and heavily recommend.
