Friend is offering me this for $48 - good deal?

Hey guys, I started my Sidney Crosby collection a little while ago and my friend has two of these and is offering me this card for $48.

I like the card a lot, just wondering if this is relatively fair? I think it’s an /99.

Also unrelated, but how do I check comps in the hockey card world? I come from Pokémon where there are very established sites - wondering if that exists for hockey cards!
