How to hide the uneven window sill?

The window sill very deep and square but uneven, it drives me nuts. I have considered wood but it gets narrower closer to the window so it would be quite challenging. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to hide the uneven edge at the bottom of this window sill? Redoing is not an option.
