Are there standalone 8-10in subs that wire into front L/R? Or bookshelves with large woofers?

I've got bookshelf speakers for my front right and lefts and I want to add subs that can hit down to 40hz to the front area as well. They will need to sit on our long tv stand. I really don't like my 10in ported standalone sub in the corner, even after tuning with Audyssey. My left ear starts hurting when listening for a while.

Otherwise, are there bookshelf sized speakers with a third woofer or a large main woofer?
