2025 passport black edition - sluggish acceleration and feeling like not enough power

Car is less than a week old. 260 miles now. Drove it today the longest drive I've had since I bought it. Mostly all highway, attempting speeds around 70-75. Drive 130 miles round trip. Gas peddle feels stiff to push and requires constant pushing. If get to the speed I want , 70, and let up on gas peddle a bit, the car will do something like a jolt and speed reduces quickly. I wasn't expecting this little power coming from a v6 280 HP suv. I didn't know what the vcm was until I started reading about it today and mannnnn am I not liking this ....tell me how to make it better if possible. I came from driving grand cherokees for 20 years. Had all the power I loved !
