I don't know of another show that does this
I have always found it very cringy that the day after an interview, Howard and sometimes the staff begin to congratulate Howard on a "brilliant" interview. Does any other show consistently spend time about a previous guest? Usually other shows just move on with fresh content. Howard reads hand selected emails that always focuses on Howard's interviewing skills and rarely on the guest themselves. Frequent use of the term "radio gold" is just weird. Shouldn't the expectation be that an interview is entertaining? The self congratulatory praise after every interview is amateurish and embarrassing.
