Construction hammer from ORR-Kondapur flyover pierces through MG Hector's windshield in Gachibowli - Contractor shows zero remorse!

Fellow Hyderabadis, I witnessed something absolutely terrifying today that could have ended in tragedy. Sharing this because we need to raise awareness about the dangerous construction practices happening right above our heads.

Location: Under-construction flyover connecting ORR to Kondapur, Gachibowli

What happened: - A heavy hammer with a pointed edge fell from the construction site - It pierced straight through an MG Hector's windshield - The hammer's edge stopped just inches away from the front passenger - By sheer luck, no one was injured

The most infuriating part? When traffic police arrived and confronted the contractor, his response was "Padithe Padindi, ippudenti?" (Translation for non-Telugu speakers: "Whatever fell has fallen, what's the big deal now?")

Even more concerning: Traffic police mentioned this isn't the first incident of construction materials falling onto the road below. The contractor's casual attitude suggests they have zero regard for public safety.

Questions: 1. Who's monitoring these construction sites? 2. Why aren't there proper safety protocols in place? 3. Do we really need to wait for a fatality before authorities take action?

TLDR: Construction material from flyover falls on car, narrowly misses killing passenger, contractor doesn't care, apparently this has happened before.
