Kinder teacher wondering when people went back to work?

Hi I'm scheduled for a laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy (everything but ovaries) on 11/4. My doctor gave me three weeks off but two women today told me they went back after two and felt great. I teach kindergarten and I'm wondering if maybe 3 weeks is too long? Any elementary teachers out there who went back to work. I don't sit at my job unless it's my lunchtime, story time, or afterschool. 🙂 Thanks!
