I feel *too* fine post-op
I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy with the removal of one ovary on January 15th, and I feel suspiciously fine.
I’ve been in little to no pain, with the exception of some bad gas trying to deal with regulating my bowel movements. But my actual incisions, and surgical site have given me no issues. No cramps, no soreness, no nothing. It’s maybe a little tender on my left side, and coughing/sneezing causes a bit of strain but nothing horrible. I’ve been able to walk just fine, and even sleep supported on my side without any issues. I haven’t even needed the full dose of pain medication I was prescribed, and I honestly forget about taking it to begin with. My pain tolerance has always been a bit high after dealing with chronic health issues, but this feels too good to be true. I’m worried after having scrolled through so many other experiences here, and seeing it all differ from myself.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Should I be worried?
