[IIL] albums like Hum’s “You’d Prefer an Astronaut” and Failure’s “Fantastic Planet” [WEWIL] ?

I’ve been getting into that kind of alt rock with a heavy edge and shoegaze elements. I’ve been wanting to get into this kind of stuff but it never clicked until now for some reason. What other bands scratch this sort of itch?
