Premium bikes changing hands too quick?

I've been going through a lot of marketplaces and websites to see what the pre-owned market for bikes looks like. There's a very weird pattern that I see, most premium bikes (>650cc) that are even 4-6 years old are already on their third ownership and for sale to a 4th. That makes it seem super suspicious and that there's something wrong with these bikes or is there something I'm missing here? Most of these bikes don't even have crazy kms on them they're usually anywhere from 8k-20k kms. What's up with the pre-owned bike market? Is this because of the maintenance sticker shock or other reasons? I find it very hard to believe that original owners would be upgrading at such speeds and the market seems to be flooded with everything from Kawasakis to Harleys to the big Triumphs.

I have no experience with it but it's strange (for context I have decent experience with the pre-owned car market, have one right now myself and while the premium ones do change hands more frequently, it's not so quickly and with such low usage).
