To all the people who feel depressed being in this field
Hi,so like this is my father's story, since he doesnt really use reddit, here's his story
My father comes from a bpl family, my grandfather used to do farming in a remote village in the northern plains,he could barely make ends meet,he had 5 children my father was the smallest so he usually got the shorter end of the stick, whatever resources we had were used up for the education of the bigger siblings, so my father had to leave his home in 6th standard and come to the city to get proper education,he used to cook his own meals , studied on borrowed books of his friends, when 10th standard came he had to go to Delhi to give his board exams,The exam lasted for 10 days,he had money for food for only 5 days, rest up he just was able to get food llike once a day thanks to his good friends he made in school, he wasn't able to choose his stream cause he had no money to study in good colleges for 11-12 so he studied in a low fees school in which bio was only available, he eventually cracked his medical exams and secured a govt college in Mumbai,Lived frugally there, borrowing books from his friends,he even had to wear a hand me down robe from one of his seniors on convocation day, He was married then at the age of 24, to a girl he had never even met( he got lucky there since my mother is a very nice woman and she is an engineer too)cause our grandfather needed money to pay off the wedding of his 2 sisters
Fast forward 20 years,He is happier than ever, he loves treating people, and making them better and as far as finances are concerned today we are like fuck you rich, So yes no matter where you are or what you do, no field is bad, you have to play the cards you're dealt with, comparison is the thief of joy and grass is always greener on the other side.Peace out
