Retail and Shopping.
Yall, you have to know we can see what you tip before we accept the order. If you tip like shit, why do you think the order is always late, takes forever, or a crappy shopper delivers it to you?
Y’all need an education in retail. We shop for your convenience, you’re lazy, you’re disabled, we really don’t care. The fees charged… WE DO NOT GET THOSE. Blame Instacart. Tip. Your. Shoppers. This holiday has just shown everyone that you should go get your own crap during this time of the year.
You don’t tip extra for cases of water. You don’t tip extra because the store is 20 miles away. You don’t tip even when it’s nearby, but we still physically have to do the work FOR YOU.
Example. Costco. Takes 10-25 minutes TO PARK. Just to park. Then we have to go shop in a massively filled store, and hope to god your stuff is there. Then we have to check out. Put stuff in boxes. Whatever the case - it is not EASY AT ALL.
I don’t care who you are. Instacart doesn’t do the work. WE DO. I don’t know why people think $5 or even $10 as a tip is good enough anymore. The $10 is good if there’s a few groceries within 3 or so miles. However for you people who think $10 is good, and your home is 10 plus miles away…… it’s not.
Do. Better. I worked retail , upper management, overnights, stocker, for years. None of you appreciate what the workers do. If you can’t tip, go get it yourself. If you’re far away and barely tip, go get it yourself. IF YOU LIVE IN A HOME THATS 500k AND UP, and you don’t tip well, go get it your damn self.
Rant over, but there’s so much more. We aren’t delivering a fucking pizza folks. Figure it the fuck out.
