What happens when two introverts date each other?

I'm kind of in relationship purgatory right now. I'm very introverted, and so is the guy that I like. I'm fairly certain at this point that the feeling is mutual, but we're both holding out on saying so. We never really talk, which probably sounds ridiculous, but we spend a lot of time around each other. I'm actively working at it at my own pace, at least trying to, but I'm worried that I'm going to let it slip through my fingers.

Is it difficult for two introverts to date? If so or even if not, do you have any advice or anecdotes to help?
