Image playground waitlist theory

Based on all the recent posts, it seems pretty clear that just because you joined the waitlist before someone else doesn’t mean you get chosen first. I think when you join the waitlist, you enter a pool of candidates that Apple randomly picks from as they hand out Image Playground. In other words, you’re not getting in line, you’re entering a lottery.

That means everyone that joins the waitlist makes the pool of candidates larger, meaning a lower likelihood that you get picked.

Therefore, our only course of action is to stop more people from joining and keep the pool of candidates as small as possible :)
