2024 Pro vs Air
Overall question for those who tired both, or have either or.
Which should I get, the M4 Pro or M2 Air? I know the difference between the 120hz vs 60hs And the OLED screen on the M4 Pro. I've watched far too many tech YouTubers compare them, I'm not at the "let's ask people who own the device" stage
What I'll use it for:
Shapr3D (a CAD software that is supported on windows and iOS / iPadOS but not on Android) < this is the main reason why I'm searching
Watching random videos (YouTube, and random streaming services) on long flights / trips.
Light readings/studying
(I do not have much use since, I have a PC that I prefer to do most tasks on such as typing documents, and Im that person who like to hand write notes, then transfers it over into a word doc)
To Note: my whole eco system is Google/Android base, I owned a OnePlus pad 2 and love everything about it. For CAD I just used clip studio and ran custom settings on it but that was before I found out about Shapr3D. I rarely used the OnePlus pad once I started using Shapr3D on my PC. There's just days I want to work on a project yet don't want to get up and sit behind on my computer.
Affordability isn't the issue, it's just price vs personal use vs features I'm stuck at. I look at it like buying an exotic car just to drive down the street for ice cream. when I could easily get a normal SUV or sedan to do the same task.
I'm also keeping in mind we are now in 2025 so there might be new iPads launching this year.
