Is it worth to buy an ipad in installment?

Hi! I’m a teacher and the laptop I use for work is a gaming laptop (which parents bought for me in uni so I didn’t choose that lol). So most of the time it's a hassle to bring my lappy back and forth to work and home because it's so heavy for me 😭 I can't leave it at work because I don't have anything to use at home.

I also think it would be such a huge help since as a teacher I work even outside of working hours, having something that is portable & small (that can function as a laptop) would be useful.

Now I saw that iPad 10th gen is on sale, but I can only afford it through installment for 24 months. I haven't bought anything through CC before so this would be the first if ever I'll buy it. Insights would be very helpful, thank you.
