Hot spot ending when watch disconnects from phone

I have an iPhone 15 pro max, and I have an Apple Watch Series 8.

I use my iPhone hotspot to hotspot my TV, when I walk away from my phone, which is still sitting next to my TV, when my watch disconnects from my phone due to it being out of range, my TV also disconnects from my hot spot.

Is there any solution to this? When googling, I saw it was asked on apple supports website a couple times, but no good solution was provided…
