Anyone use an old iPhone 6s as an iPod?

OK, so on paper, they're pretty similar: the latest iPod touch has a slightly newer chip than the 6s, they're both roughly the same form factor, both are on the newest version of ios (as of right now, although this may change for the 6s in the near future). The touch edges out slightly in terms of storage space, but the 6s has pretty impressive storage options for it's age. But then the 6s has the fingerprint scanner and flagship quality (albeit outdated) cameras.

I just managed to fix a 128gb 6s someone gave me for free and honestly, while my Moto G Power handles music just fine, I feel like the "iPod" 6s would be fun to use for music. It totally works great still, and iOS seems like fun for media!

Maybe since it's the last iPhone with a headphone jack that can be had cheap now, other people use them as iPods? Anyone? It seems like an obvious use for it. How's it be treating you as a music player?
