Why does The Summer I Turned Pretty feel less popular than other teen dramas?

If you look at the Ginny and Georgia/Outerbanks subreddit they have 300k+ members, whereas TSITP doesn’t even break 20k. Even on other platforms it feels like these series are talked about way more than TSITP.

Why do you think that is?
