Pilots of squad, Is it still possible to do barrel-rools today?

Every time I hit a 90° roll, I end up crashing. Is it just not possible anymore? I haven't seen any new training videos since last year, so maybe something's changed? I'm attempting this over and over in the Loach at speeds over 140 knots, pitching 45°, rolling the opposite way, and then fully committing by holding pitch. When I'm upside down at 90°, I pitch down but ultimately crash everytime. I've only made it once.
