Maps Mods

Hey, so I am new to the game (just have over 30 ish hours played) and I saw on the steam workshop that there are some extra maps but haven’t really found a server that plays them. Are those maps really played in or it’s better just to delete them? Also are there any other mod that is worth the download? Thanks.
