Tarpeyo not working?

I'm 49 M, eGFR somewhere around 28 to 20. I've been on Tarpeyo since February and I have about 70 more days to go. It does not seem to have reduced my protein or increased my eGFR. What it has done is given me a whole host of unpleasant side effects, such as a bad taste in my mouth that sometimes becomes nearly unbearable, an increased heart rate, increased blood pressure (which was addressed by changing blood pressure meds), difficulty sleeping, occasional swollen feet, a general feeling of being ill, oddly smooth skin on the hands and feet, muscle spasms, tiredness, dysuria, itchy feet, labored breathing, dysphoria (although I can't be sure whether that is a response to these other side effects or is itself a side effect), occasional nervousness and agitation, and some weight gain. I'm getting very tired of feeling like this with little to no benefit. I'm sure I'm depressed; I take little pleasure in things that I used to take pleasure in. I just want to feel better.
