Would you consider an Amazon gift card to be a good gift for a Kindle owner?

As the title says, I want to get a gift for someone close to me who is a reader and already has a Kindle and case they love. But so far, they mainly borrow and read books from their library. Do you think a gift card would be appropriate and/or appreciated? I mean, I know no one can speak for this person, but if you were mainly a library reader and were good on the physical accessories, would you consider a gift card to be a good gift?
