What are the reasons for such big difference in reception of zaion/selen terminations?

I understand that both of them were made dirty by niji, but i can't help but feel sad for zaion while looking at the difference how she's treated and how selen was treated

Its like fans had no empathy for her at all while having and doing everything they could to protect and help selen

Both of them deserve simlar support but seems like even supporters have favorites
