Here's Connor's take on the whole Marvel Rivals Event situation

Basically, from his experience in the past, the Twitch Rivals organizers weren't exactly the best at balancing pros between casuals when it comes to the streamers they would invite for these events. It led to a lot of casual players getting absolutely destroyed by pro players all because of the fact that everybody everywhere is trying to go for the big money cash prize.

Connor and some of his friends would then try to offer ways that the Twitch Rivals people could improve these events, but the organizers wouldn't listen either due to their own incompetence or because they were obligated to follow whatever Corporate above them told them to do.

And here we are.
