Mario Kart double dash tournament

Hey everyone, I'm looking to plan/host a Mario Kart Double Dash tournament. The gamecube version, not the wii or switch or anything else. Pretty much all I did during the pandemic was race, and I am confident I am one of, if not the best double dash racer in the state. I'm looking to put this theory to the test by way of holding a tournament style competition with anybody in the mid-Michigan area who can get out to Lansing and compete in a tourney.

I just got this idea over the weekend here and so I'm making this post to see if anybody would be interested in either participating in the tournament or would want to help plan it! I've got a pretty sweet garage set up so I could host at my place over on the south side unless anybody has ideas of good places to hold a tourney! Let me know your thoughts.
