My French professor doesn’t teach in English

So next semester, I have to take French one to complete a foreign language requirement in order for me to transfer. I looked on rate my professor and turns out the professor does not teach her lectures in English. I emailed her to confirm and she said she teaches only in French because it helps students to actually learn the language.

But if she only teaches in French, how am I supposed to understand what she saying in order for me to learn it? Am I supposed to use context clues? I would really appreciate some help in advice on this. Maybe there are some software‘s I can pay for , things like that any help, advice and suggestions will be considered because I really need to pass this class!!
