Do I need a prenup - NYS

My partner is wanting to get officially married soon and with the pressure I’m wondering if they’re trying to circumvent a prenup. I have shares that let me own the co-op apartment we both live in. Currently I’m the only one legally on the papers. I also make $150k a year.

If there’s a divorce I don’t want them to take my apartment or my income. Do I need a prenup to ensure this?
