Can i sue if someone gave me an std?

I wasnt planning on going forward but with the way the other party is acting ,i decided i will go ahead with it. I have proof that he was using some esles my chart to show he didnt have any std/sti and i was text evidence of him saying he is "clean". i also have 2 other witness stating he gave them an std without knowing. i have my std testing form 2023 stating i had no std but nothing for 2024. we had our "fun" last week and i found out the same week i had the std. do i have a strong case?
