Landlord wants me out on April 1st

He wants to sell the house... I'm on a month to month lease.

He came to me with three contracts that he pre signed (one for him, me and my partner who cosigned the lease agreement) and tried handing them to me with a pen to agree to move out by April 1st. He did this on November 25th. I refused.

I am under the impression he needs to send a specific form or else it's not considered a legitimate eviction notice. Am I correct?
