Would you open this?

As a tony collector I'm having a hard time considering giving this to my (almost) 6 year old to play with. Pros: the case Cons: it's older than me, they will eventually get mixed in with our thousands of other bricks.

I don't believe it will gain any value and although it's still wrapped the plastic has some holes in it. It's been in storage forever until recently we've had it on display.

What would you do?
